Birding Bliss

Sadiri Birdwatching Paradise

Sadiri Lodge is a sublime location for Birdwatching, as it offers a great diversity of birds, including many species, native to the hill forest on the outlying Andean ridges.

At Sadiri Lodge, our altitude variations between 500-900 m.a.s.l, present a great advantage, as they offer easy access to different species of birds that can be found at these elevations.

In addition to this, the route to Sadiri, which begins in Rurrenabaque, and continues on to San Buenaventura, passes through specific observation sites that include species from the habitats of the Beni Pampas.  This include Macaws that live in the Palm Forest, as well as other species, which you will be able to observe with the help of our expert local guides.

Sadiri has more than 500 species of birds, more than half of the 1,000 species that are registered in the Madidi National Park. At Sadiri Lodge, we are proud to be ranked by eBird as the most important hotspot for birdwatching in Bolivia.  To see Sadiri Lodge´s bird list, please visit eBird.

Sadiri Lodge rests in a lush, biodiverse rainforest at the Andean foothills, where cool climate, rich soils, and abundant rainfall create a sanctuary for extraordinary wildlife.
